There are no fees for children attending just the grant-funded pre-school sessions. All expenses are met by a grant that we receive from the county council, and we do not add any top-up fees or extra charges.
For children attending daycare sessions or whose parents choose to extend the pre-school session, our fees are based on the age of the child and the number of mornings and afternoons that they attend. Where children qualify for the grant, this is used to reduce the fees due. The current fee schedule is available from the Nursery Manager. Fees are paid at the beginning of each calendar month by standing order.
Although our high number of staff to children means that our service will never be “cheap”, we aim to offer a very high standard of care at a price that is affordable.
In addition, many working parents are entitled to the childcare element of the working tax credit system. This can mean a rebate of up to 70p for each £1 spent on childcare with Springles. More details are available at the Inland Revenue tax credit website or by calling 0845 300 3900 (textphone 0845 300 3909).
Childcare vouchers offer financial benefits to both working parents and their employers. We are happy to accept vouchers from most suppliers or direct payments from employers. If your employer does not offer this service, we recommend that you contact your Human Resources department and ask them to set one up.
